I have started a new activity. I am starting to listen to news. Then, my Amma asked me to watch and listen to CNN Student News today. You can watch the video here

What I learnt by watching CNN Student News today is

* Scientists must have discovered water in the form of ice in the past, in Mars. But now, NASA finds the evidence of liquid water in Mars.

* NASA scientists discovered that water in Mars may not be so pure and it contains a special kind of salt called as 'perchlorate salts'.

* Dr. Jim Green is the Director of Planetary Science at NASA. Planetary Science is the scientific study of planets (including Earth), Moons and Planetary Systems (in particular those of the Solar System) and the processes that form them. Dr. Jim Green says that they have not been able to answer the question whether life exists beyond Earth.

* Super Lunar Eclipse happened around the world. During the lunar eclipse, the Sun, the Moon and the Earth fall on one line. Once, my Amma had showed me a lunar eclipse.

* USA and Iran seems to have agreed for a deal.

* In a small town called as Conetoe, Eastern North Carolina, there was no grocery store. People had to travel 10 miles. So, a Pastor from a Church guided young children to harvest 50000 pounds of food a year. This town with a population of 300 people is no more a food desert now.
