Sriman Narayana, The Blue Colored Supreme In Vaikunta Planet

Imagine how it would be if we went to Vaikunta and saw Sriman Narayana. Acharya Sri Ramanuja has wrote in his book 'Vaikunta Gadyam' how Sriman Narayana looks like. I read his description which helped me to describe Sriman Narayana and I have shared my feelings too. Go to this link here, to read the translation of Sri Ramanuja Acharya's 'Vaikunta Gadyam'. People say that one who goes to Vaikunta will never come back to earth, but there are certain divine messengers who descend down to earth to preach. Sri Ramanujacharya, Vashistadvaita seer is believed to be the incarnation of Adi Sesha. I thank Sri Ramanujacharya, an incarnation of Shankarshana for beautifully describing Vaikunta. Now, I'd like to share my description about Sriman Narayana in my own words, and my feelings too. My Amma was my writing coach and she helped me improve my descriptive writing skills. We wrote several drafts and edited it. I wrote for another writing prompt Amma gave few days back, that was about 'A walk on stormy spring day'. It was a simple one and I wrote only few sentences, but describing Sriman Narayana is close to my heart.

Sriman Narayana, The Blue Colored Supreme in Vaikunta

I entered Vaikunta, the heavenly planet and I was greeted with Sriman Narayana's adorable crescent moon smile. As I saw his two wide eyes open like freshly blossomed lotus flowers, tears of pure joy filled my eyes. I was awestruck when I saw his luminous blue colored body. The amazing sight made me feel like I have been drifted away from the ground and floating in the sky. He had a slim conch like neck. His nose was long and sharp. He had decorative earrings that looked like a fish.

I felt warm tenderness when I looked at his raised eyebrows that expressed his concern for his devotees. He shined like a diamond. His kaustubha gem on his chest brought a sparkle of happiness in my eyes. He had a neck band around his neck. His row of chains created a strum of melodious music. His silky pitambari cloth around his waist was so radiant like the sun, it lit up the whole of Vaikunta planet with sheer brightness. I bent down with complete surrender to touch Sriman Narayana's feet. When I touched his lotus feet, I had a sensation that a cool breeze passed through me that tingled my skin, leaving me calm and peaceful. I was indeed blessed to go to Vaikunta that day.

Jai Sriman Narayana
