The Curious Kangaroo - A Comic Strip

I was all excited about a short story that I read in Robin Wolfe's comprehension book. Mommy suggested me to create a comic strip since I always tell her funny stories all the time. So she told, "Why don't you create a comic strip? I didn't know what comic strip is and that is exactly what I learnt - how to create comic strip. I came up with an imaginative story idea similar to the story what I read in the comprehension book. Mommy helped me to learn how to use paint brush while I drew the characters. I learnt a bit of how to use the MS Paint and mommy helped me to understand how we could create a collage in picasa photo viewer. Here is the first comic I created.

My Ghost - An Imaginative Story

Here is a story that I wrote. Beware, it is a scary story.

Once upon a time, there was a scary ghost which lived in a river. His tail was yellow in colour. His teeth looked sharp. His horns looked like the horns of the ox. His nose was long and big. His legs were flying in the air. He looked like a white puffy cloud and seemed to have no body. He came out of the river. He came out to meet me to make me feel afraid. I screamed. My whole body was shivering with fear. The ghost came nearer and nearer. I was lying in my bed with a crumpled body. I heard a voice that said "Wake up, it is morning". That was my mother's voice. Oh, I escaped the ghost. All that was only a dream and not real.

He He He  Ha Ha Ha
Do you imagine something scary like this? How do you feel when you do it?
Then, write to me.

3 Reasons Why I Like The Movie 'Journey To The Center Of The Earth'

Last night, I watched the movie 'Journey To The Centre Of The Earth'. Every time, the movie is shown in the television channels, I don't miss watching. I will share 3 reasons why I like the movie so much.

  1. The movie is very thrilling. When Trevor, Sean and Hannah falls down after the muscovite breaks, I feel like I am falling down. I can feel a shiver in my body when I watch that scene. Sean flies away from the raft and falls unconscious in another place. When he opens his eyes, he saw a dead piranha and that scene made me scream loud. Another thrilling moment is when the Dinosaur chases Trevor and ends up breaking the muscovite and falls down. But fortunately Trevor escapes the death and he says, "I hate field trips". There are more thrilling moments. When Hannah brings a boat made of Dinosaur bones, all three starts rowing the boat wanting to get out and see the sky. The water drains, the boat could not float any more and crashes down. Trevor says, "Bumpy". In the beginning, when the tracks begins to slide down in the mine, it reminds of the roller coaster rides. It is indeed very thrilling.

  2. The movie is very funny. The funniest scene in the movie is when Trevor, Sean and Hannah slides down in the boat, messing up all the fruits in the farm and crashes down somewhere in a barn in Italy. After the thrilling ride in the mine, the tracks ended and carts crashed. That was very funny for me. Sean was playing yo-yo and he hit a model of what seemed like wooden balls that fell down on Trevor's head.

  3. The movie helped me learn. After watching this movie, I was able to develop my vocabulary. Some of the new words I learnt are muscovite, mineral, navigate and magma. I also learnt about mines, ruby, glow birds, piranha, magma, carnivorous plants, magnesium and a lot more.
'Journey To The Centre Of The Earth' is one of my favourite movies. It is thrilling, funny and entertaining every time I watch.

Tell me why do you like the movie and what did you learn from the movie?

A Fantasy Story

Tiny Pea's Toy Room

At night, Tiny Pea closed the toy room door and went to his bed room. That's when the fun began. The Lego blocks stood in rows and formed a Golden Gate bridge. Then the toy cars drove over the bridge and participated in a funny and thrilling race. The toy air planes and helicopters flew around the room. Jenga blocks stacked themselves higher and higher until they laughed so hard that they tumbled over. Toy puppets danced with toy cars. Then it was morning. "Get back in position!" called the baseball bat. "Tiny Pea is coming!"Tiny Pea opened the toy room door and went right to play.

Fly High Like The Confident Bald Eagle

Today morning, I was singing 'Ninja Hatori Song' and 'Never Never Give Up Song (Thomas Tank Trains)'. I noticed that I was singing very confidently. My confidence level is less when I am in school, whenever I go out and meet people who are bullies. I also feel less confident when I cry. I feel like a donkey when I am not confident. I feel sad. But I am not a donkey, I pretend to be that.

Today, I was very confident while singing. When I feel less confident, my mommy always says that I am already a very confident boy. She says, it is all about getting back that confidence again. Confidence is not a new thing. I already have it. Sometimes, it vanishes but we can always search it back.

Whenever I am confident, I feel like the gigantic bald eagle who is flying very high. A bald eagle's body is very light and because of that they can take off from the ground very easily and fly high confidently. That is exactly how I feel when I am confident. Just like the bald eagle, I feel light and not stressed, so I can simply raise up happily, take off confidently like the bald eagle and sing and play and learn and paint and make music and talk and run around confidently and happily. When I am happy I feel like I am the strong bald eagle flying in the sky happily.

From today on wards, whenever I am less confident, I will search back the confidence inside me by remembering and becoming a bald eagle.

My Trip To Kabini

I went to Kabini. I went boating there. I went for bonfire. I saw the ducks. I touched the 'touch me not' plants and had fun. We booked a room and stayed there. I ate French fries at the resort. I took a stick from an island that I went. I took a stone from a construction site. I jumped on a trampoline. I cycled. I played in the water near the Kabini lake. My cloths became wet. I visited Kabini dam. I went to an elephant camp at Nagarahole Forest. I touched the elephant. I saw peacock, deer and wild elephants in the forest. I saw a farm. I travelled in a Jeep. I went for a tree walk. I climbed on top of a Banyan tree. I watched a movie on elephants at the resort. I saw pictures of wild cats hanged on the walls at the resort. I told 'bye bye' and bid farewell to the Kabini lake. Then, I went to Mysore in taxi. I ate yummy desserts at Fortune JP palace, Mysore. Then, I went to the railway station and boarded Shatabdi Express and came back home.

Freedom

To me, freedom is not being forced. If I can sing, learn and play without being forced, then that is freedom for me. Freedom is also about choosing the food I like to eat. I don't like to eat tomatoes, capsicum and onions. Mom never forces me to eat those. But I do eat what I like. I eat a lot of nutritious vegetables such as carrot, cabbage, radish, potato, beet root, spinach, brocoli, corn, many more vegetables and all kinds of fruits. Freedom is also about playing what I like to play. I like to play cars, baseball, cricket and golf. Sometimes, some people do not allow me to experience freedom. One aunty asked me to write so fast in school and then I started to scribble. I wanted to be free to write slowly and not scribble. I do not like to scribble because then I will not write correctly. I like to write correctly even if it takes more time. Also, sometimes when I write very thick, the paper in the notebook is torn. Torn papers in the notebook will spoil the notebook. We can not use the spoilt notebook then. That is why I like to write slowly and gently so that I write correctly and without tearing the papers from the notebook. If anybody does not allow me to do this, I feel upset. When I am upset, I am not free. When I have freedom, I am very happy.

Did you like what I wrote? What is freedom for you?

Fear

Fear,
fear in my heart
hard like an iron grill
looks red in color
without hiding
I saw it in my heart
later, it passed through my intestines and legs
went away through my toes
I became happy again.

When There Is No Wind At all

When there is no wind at all,
there is no one to gently touch me
I miss a friend from nature
there is no one to dance circles in my home
So, Wind
blow, blow, blow
touch me
dance with me
be my friend.

I want to make an oil tanker with wood. First, I will cut the wood with the saw. Then, I will put fevicol around. I will cut another wood. The bow comes out. A bow is something which is under a ship. I will put the name under the bow. Then, I will arrange the tank. Then, I will put the oil inside the tank. After that, I will close the tank with a plastic.  I need to put a sailor's cabin. I will put the oil tanker in my own shop.

2. Saw (I need to buy)
3. Fevicol (I have it)
4. Plastic (I need to find)
5. Little Oil (I have)
